Money Mirror ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Your email address when you sign up.
• Financial data: Transaction history, account names, and balances retrieved through Plaid from your connected bank accounts.
• Paycheck settings: Pay frequency, paycheck amount, buffer amount, and recurring bills you enter manually. This is stored locally on your device.

How We Use Your Information

• To display your financial data within the app
• To calculate your safe-to-spend amount and savings progress
• To sync transactions from your connected bank accounts via Plaid

Plaid

We use Plaid to connect to your bank accounts. Plaid's privacy policy is available at plaid.com/legal/privacy-policy. We never see or store your bank login credentials.

Data Storage

Your transaction data is stored securely in our database provided by Supabase. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@moneymirrorapp.com.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure token handling through Plaid.

Children's Privacy

Money Mirror is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app.
